Activities:
1. Traditional Handcrafts:
o Chinese Paper Cutting: Discover the art of intricate designs and patterns cut from paper.
o Chinese Knotting: Learn the ancient craft of creating decorative knots symbolising good luck and prosperity.
o Lantern Making: Create beautiful and colourful lanterns, a traditional symbol in Chinese culture.
2. Chinese Calligraphy:
o Experience the elegance and discipline of Chinese calligraphy. Have your Chinese name written in ancient calligraphy styles by skilled instructors.
3. Tea Ceremony:
o Participate in a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Learn about the history, techniques, and cultural significance of tea in Chinese culture.
4. Traditional Games:
o Wǔzǐqí: Challenge yourself with this classic Chinese board game, also known as Gomoku or Five in a Row.
o Tóu hú: Try your hand at this ancient Chinese pitch-pot game, which involves throwing arrows into a pot.
